12/12/21 FOR THE WANT OF A NAIL

12/12/21 FOR THE WANT OF A NAIL

I have used the poem/proverb, which starts with, "For the want of a nail..." I applied it to...
The importance of prayer,
Nothing is too small,
God creates from nothing.

Think about these words as they apply to your part in God's kingdom work.
For the want of a nail a shoe was lost;
For the want of a shoe a horse was lost;
For the want of a horse a warrior was lost;
For the want of a warrior a battle was lost;
For the want of a battle a kingdom was lost.

We All Have A Place
I posted this because I was thinking about the importance of the NAIL.
It is the smallest part of the story.
It is the least expensive part of the war machine.
It is the least esteemed of the battle gear.

Sometimes we think we realize how small our part is in the grand scheme of life, YET, God has assigned us to our station and we must be faithful, so that the campaign will succeed.

It is often the small things (the little foxes) in life that determine the failure or success of a great endeavor.
Do not underestimate your part in God's kingdom work.
Do not be missing in the war for men's souls.
Do not be the cause of your local church failing to do God's work.
