12/01/21 IT IS EASIER TO STAY AHEAD THAN TO CATCH UP

I have reset my temporary "age" goal. (I am actually hoping for rapture, but while I am here I want to be useful in the kingdom). I adjust my goal upward every few years, just to keep me aware of my need to take care of myself.

I usually reset my goal every few years, just to keep me focused and motivated to do the right things for my health.

However, one of the ladies in our church is over eighty years old and though she has had several physical set backs, she is amazing. So, I thought, I am 74 now, so I will set my new temporary goal at 81. (Yes, I will reset that goal a couple of years before I reach eighty-one). So I now encourage myself to healthy living by thinking, "81, HERE I COME, (the Lord willing)."

I know I cannot add to God's plan (nor do I want to), I am just encouraging myself to be healthy enough to participate in God's plan.
