01/19/21 OVERVIEW OF FUTURE EVENTS AND PERIODS
When Jesus returns He will reign and rule with a rod of iron, maintaining righteousness and justice, unlike Socialism, Communism and other corrupt and corrupted governments. The righteous will rejoice and the wicked will continue to resent, resist and reject Christ as King. But the ground rules will be different. Jesus as King, Law Maker and Judge will not be bought off, intimidated, crooked, deceived.
OVERVIEW OF FUTURE EVENTS AND PERIODS
*The last days of the Church (Grace) Period.
*Rapture and resurrection of believers in this present Period.
*Tribulation (at least seven years).
*Return of Christ with resurrected believers.
*Millennial (thousand year) Reign Christ, with Satan chained.
*End of Millennium. Satan loosed. Final attempt to overthrow Christ.
*Satan cast into Lake of Fire, forever.
*Great White Throne Judgment (Divine judgement of all unsaved people from all human history) and sentencing to eternal torment and punishment.
It is better to accept Christ as Savior and Lord now. Those who hear the gospel, but choose to refuse Christ as Savior and Lord will be left behind at the time of the Rapture and will enter into the Tribulation. They will not have the opportunity to receive Christ and they will likely not make it through the seven years of God's Tribulation judgments, therefore they will not enter into Christ's Thousand Year Reign on earth.
Those who live during the Millennial Kingdom will either come from, 1- believers Eden to Laodicea, who have been Raptured, Resurrected and Returned to earth with Christ to rule in His kingdom, or 2- Tribulation converts (from among the nations of the world) or 3- People born during the Millennium who accept Christ in His redemptive and ruling role.
Psalms 2:1-12
1 Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?
2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying,
3 Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.
4 He that sits in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.
5 Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.
6 Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.
7 I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.
8 Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.
9 Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.

Revelation 19:11-21

12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.

Proverbs 29:1-2
1 He, that being often reproved hardens his neck, shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy.
2 When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked bears rule, the people mourn.
2 Thessalonians 1:4-12
4 So that we ourselves glory in you in the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that ye endure:
5 Which is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God, that ye may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer:
6 Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you;
7 And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
8 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
9 Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;
10 When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.
11 Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power:
12 That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and ye in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.
2 Thessalonians 2:1-17
1 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,
2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
4 Who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sits in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
5 Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?
6 And now ye know what withholds that he might be revealed in his time.
7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now lets will let, until he be taken out of the way.
8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
13 But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:
14 Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
15 Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle.
16 Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace,
17 Comfort your hearts, and stablish you in every good word and work.
1 Corinthians 15:50-58
50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
57 But thanks be to God, which gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
1 Thessalonians 4:13-18
13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
Thank you sister. I am saying that those who hear the gospel in this present dispensation, but reject the message of salvation will not have the opportunity to get saved in the Tribulation. I hope to come back soon and give you my Biblical reason for this belief.
Sister, I expanded my 2 Thessalonians passage to include 1:4-12 through 2:1-17.
This is the passage I refer to when I say that those who hear and refuse the gospel will not be given the opportunity during the Tribulation.
Let me start with my notes referring to 2 Thessalonians 1:4-12
vs. 4 Paul commended his hearers for their patience, faith and endurance during persecutions and tribulations.
vs. 5 Endurance, patience and faith are essential to Christian worthiness.
vs. 6 However, God will impose tribulation on those who persecute His people.
vs. 7 At the return of Christ, God's judgments will fall on the oppressors.
vs. 8 There will be flaming fire and vengeance on those who do not obey the gospel of Christ.
vs. 9 Those who do not obey the gospel of Christ will be punished with everlasting destruction, away from Christ and His glory.
vs. 10 Christ will come to be glorified in His saints (the believing, the faithful, the obedient, the worthy ones who endure.
vss. 11-12 A spiritual snapshot of the true believer.
It is important to understand the principles of chapter one in order to understand chapter two.
2 Thessalonians 2 1-12
vs. 1 The Rapture had not yet happened (part of the second coming) as some were teaching, even in the days of Paul.
vs. 2 Don't let any one (spirit, teaching, preaching, testimony, letter) confuse you about the Return of Christ.
vs. 3 Before the Return of Christ there will be a great falling away (apostasy, defection from the faith) and the anti-Christ (man of sin, son of perdition, beast) will be revealed.
vs. 4 The Beast (the false god) will set himself up as God in the Temple of God (the future temple in Jerusalem).
vs. 5 Paul warned the Christians of his day.
vs. 6 Be aware that God is the One holding back the Beast. God's presence through the Church is the restraining influence and power that keeps the evil one from free rein and evil reign.
vs. 7 The Holy Spirit has always existed, since before creation. He was active in the creation. He has been active in the human family since the time of Adam. Satan entered human history in the Garden and has had a plan to overthrow God since before the world began but God (the Holy Spirit) has always kept him in check.
The Holy Spirit has had a more evident presence in the New Testament times, since He lives in each believer and we are God's channel of ministry. However, when the Rapture takes place, the Church will be caught away in the Rapture. This will remove the salt, light and the worldwide influence of the Holy Spirit, which in turn will remove some restrictions on the devil and his human minions. This is what is meant by, he (Holy Spirit) that letteth (allows), will be taken out of the way.
vs. 8 Then shall that "wicked one" (the anti-Christ, the beast, the son of perdition, man of sin) be revealed. For a set period of time the beast will appear to have all authority, but it is just an appearance. God shall stop and condemn the coming of the beast.
vs. 9 The beast will come in conjunction with the devil, including demonic powers signs and lying wonders. Great deception and delusion comes with demonic activity.
vs. 10 The beast will act almost unrestrained and deceptively, ensnaring the unrighteous who chose not to receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. This could include those left behind... read on.
vs. 11 God will send strong delusion on those who chose not to believe the truth, so that they might believe a lie. This cannot include the folks who never heard. It must include those who have heard but were left behind. While this also includes those who hear and reject the truth, during the Tribulation, it certainly applies to those who were left behind... read on.
vs. 12 God sends strong delusion on ALL so that they might be damned (condemned), who believed not the truth. REMEMBER, the left behind will be those who heard the gospel and refused to believe it. They actually hated the truth. They mocked the truth. They loved sin rather than the truth and they had pleasure in unrighteousness. This must include those who had heard and rejected the gospel before the Rapture.
Those who hear and reject will be left behind. God will send strong delusion to those who have rejected the love of God's saving truth. This strong delusion will result in believing an even greater lie and will incur God's judgment... read on.
vs. 13 NOW Paul comes back to his hearers and applies these truths to their experience.
Paul is thankful for his hearers, who were loved by Christ, chosen to salvation through God's works of grace... read on.
vs. 14 Those same hearers were called TO OBTAIN the glory of Christ, which is still in their future... read on.
vs. 15 Paul urges those believers, these brothers in Christ, to THEREFORE STAND FAST and HOLD TO THE traditions (historically received revelation of God through prophets and apostles), whether orally transmitted by Paul or in its written form... read on.
vs. 16-17 On the basis of Christ and God the Father and Their love, consolation, good hope through grace, Paul encourages them that God will comfort their hearts and establish them in every good word and work.
In the light of the end time events (that God will send strong delusion, which will deceive and condemn disobedient hearers so that they will be judged for having rejected salvation), Paul points out that God chooses and enables people to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth.
Paul was speaking to people who were called TO OBTAIN the glory of Christ (in the future). Paul directed those brothers in the faith to STAND FAST, HOLD TO THE TRUTHS REVEALED and God would comfort them and establish them.
Paul's hearers would not be left behind if they kept their faith in Christ. If they turned from trusting Christ they would be left behind without any promise of salvation, and actually facing the judgment of delusion which would solidify their sinful and unbelieving stance.
If we do not believe the truth we are prime candidates for being judged and condemned.
ALSO, consider this.
If a person, in this present world, with all of the benefits of grace and the support of fellow believers and laws of the land that protect Christian life and action, and the redemptive salvific influence of the Holy Spirit WILL NOT REMAIN FAITHFUL WHEN EVERYTHING IS GOING WELL AND IT IS EASY TO BE A CHRISTIAN, what likely hood is there that such a person will remain faithful, EVEN IF GOD DOES NOT SEND THAT PERSON STRONG DELUSION?
But God will send strong delusion on those who have rejected God's grace, God's Son, God's salvation, God's truth, God's call and God's opportunity.
Also consider this.. EVEN IF IT IS POSSIBLE FOR A DISBELIEVING, CHRIST REJECTING, SIN ENTRENCHED person, who is left behind to turn to Christ during the Tribulation, what is the probability? Remember, the Bible does not promise the rejectors any special grace or any salvation at all. The Bible warns us to be ready in this present evil age and says that we must be pure. To trust in a second chance is a fool's errand and I believe the devils lie.
