01/28/21 POST FROM 2018

...and it is Biblical.

SOMETIMES THE BEST ANSWER FROM GOD, OR FROM A PARENT OR A PASTOR OR A MENTOR IS, "IT'S NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS."

BE WISE
After three years of teaching, after His death and physical resurrection, after several weeks of Jesus leading His dedicated followers in personal evaluation and mission planning, they asked Jesus if He was going to restore the kingdom to Israel at that time. This was His response.
Acts 1:7-8
7 And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power.
8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

It is none of your business. You are asking the wrong question. You should be focused on what I told you, immediately after my resurrection, to, "go into all the world and make disciples of all nations." (Mt. 28:18-20)

Too often people are at the train station, "waiting for their ship to come in."

Instead of listening intently to the Master, their mind is marching into an unauthorized battle.

It is possible to ask a good question at a bad time.
It is possible to drown out the voice of God with our own carnal curiosity.
It is possible to miss Divine revelation and enlightenment because our eyes are turned toward the temporal.

Effective discipleship requires Biblical knowledge and submission, humility and obedience, spiritual hunger and discernment.
God does not need our insights, our advice, our agenda.
God wants our trust, our allegiance, our surrender.
Follow in Jesus' steps closely, constantly, continuously and consistently.
