God warned us that false teachers would come to corrupt our minds with, ANOTHER JESUS, ANOTHER SPIRIT or ANOTHER GOSPEL. Mormons (those who falsely call themselves, The Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints) tells us they have "ANOTHER TESTAMENT OF JESUS CHRIST."

It is not unusual for cults to have a literary body of false teaching about the one true God, (Father, Son and Holy Spirit), Divine revelation and salvation, but Mormonism (LDS) blatantly calls part of their false revelation ANOTHER TESTAMENT OF JESUS CHRIST.

THE BIBLE SAYS
2 Corinthians 11:2-4
2 For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.
3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.
4 For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.

Sadly, people believe these "OTHERS" and then think they believe in the ACTUAL JESUS, HOLY SPIRIT, GOSPEL as well as the HOLY BIBLE (OLD AND NEW TESTAMENT).

LDS teaches that there is more than one god; they teach that their "father god" was once a man, even as we are men; they teach that that imaginary man became a god; they teach that men today can become gods.

When I talk to LDS "elders" they tell me they believe in only one God. They tell me there is only one God. They persist in lying to me, even when I point out Bible verses that declare there is only one God. However, when they finally realize I know the truth about their hidden deception, they confess that they believe there are many gods. They qualify their lie by saying that the god of LDS is the only god for them, that their "father god" is the god of this world, though there are many other gods and many other worlds.

The true word of God, the Old and New Testament, teaches that there is only one true God, Who is God by nature, though there are many false gods of appointment, which are wood, stone, spirits and men, as well as gods of materialism.

THERE IS ONLY ONE GOD

3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
(literally, "before my face," meaning, "besides me," "in addition to me."

I want to encourage my 8 grands in our church to pursue whatever music God leads you to play. We have a great need for piano players who play songs with their hands and from their hearts.

I am glad for those who are playing guitar, bass, violin, drums, ukulele and all other instruments. You should enjoy what you do. But don't miss the fact that music ministry is the highest musical service to render. And don't miss the reality that music ministry includes gifting and training. Give God your best and use what God gives to you.

You need to do what you do, for Jesus.
You need to use the musical styles that communicates spiritual grace to the hearers.
You need to play what pleases God and what glorifies Him.

Don't ever settle for being a talented musician or singer. Your goal must always be to play and sing for Him, to Him. Let God lead you into unseen realms of praise and adoration and encouragement and witness. This means that your inner man must be in sync with God's will and standards.

I realize that not all of my grandchildren are going to be singers or musicians. God has other plans for them, and I will encourage them also. But this is something that needs to be addressed now. I am here to help you in the ministry part of music ministry.

SHALLOWNESS IS THE DANGER
Persecution itself cannot separate you from God.
Lack of spiritual depth (faith) during persecution results in falling away.

SHALLOW, OFFENDED BELIEVERS TRIP, STUMBLE, FALL AWAY WHEN PERSECUTED

(dlg note... Luke 8:13 says that these people "believe for a while" but in time of temptation, adversity "fall away.")
22 He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful.
23 But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.

Persecution does not separate a believer from God, but lack of faith, due to shallowness during persecution, results in falling away from God.

If there is a possibility that upset restaurant staff will deliberately contaminate the food of a customer who complained about food or a service problem, what about Public School teachers and administrators deliberately targeting a child who has been represented by legal counsel concerning Christian rights, which were infringed upon by biased, Humanistic change agents?

This is one reason "winning" a court decision is not an actual win for students. Remember, those philosophical change agents are committed to "rescuing" children from the "lies" and "dangers" of the Holy Bible and "deluded" Christianity. A court decision redefines the student as an "enemy" of the public school system.

Aside from writers like Moses, David, Solomon, Isaiah, Jeremiah, (and other Old Testament men) along with Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Paul, James, Peter, Jude, I very seldom quote anyone concerning authoritative doctrine, salvation, godly behavior, Biblical history, though I am a student of these subjects and have learned from other people and various writings.

I do consult and study experts in various fields, such as history, linguistics and theology, but my primary source and my final authority is Scripture itself, since it is the infallible, inerrant word of God. It is not that the experts in these areas are unhelpful. Without them we would not have the needed information to read or study the word of God. However, I build my beliefs on the foundation of God's revelation rather than human opinion, prejudice and theological positions. This has led me to change my mind about certain beliefs and facts that I had been taught, which were contrary to Biblical revelation.

When I give God's word I know it is true. I don't have to justify or qualify what God said. I may need to explain it in the light of other Scripture, but what God says is true, it is not opinion or man made theology.
There are truths which are unquestionable. People may have honest questions about those truths, but the truths are not assailable., such as...
Believers (including New Testament believers) can fall,
There is a Biblical perfection available and incumbent upon believers (including New Testament believers),
God cleanses from all sin in this present evil world and He expects believers to live without committing sin.

As I pointed out, people may have questions about these truths, but there is no question that these truths are stated by God in His word, many times, in Old and New Testaments. When people attack Biblical truth, I don't have to prove that it is true, because God said it. When people attack what some person said, regardless of how correct they may be, then I must be able to verify that they said it, explain what they meant when they said it, be certain that they never contradicted themselves and justify their morals, their qualification and the basis of the statement.

I don't mind explaining Scripture, but I at least know it is true, authentic, genuine, authoritative, infallible, inerrant. Yes, I know that this last statement needs to be explained to some people. But I will save that for another post.

Journey from Egypt to Promise Land was short but God took them the long way to train and equip Israel for victorious living...

When Moses prayed for Israel in battle, Israel was victorious...

Aaron and Hur supported Moses during time of battle...
Leaders in the Church need support, encouragement, prayer during times of trial.

Moses strikes the Rock...
The Rock is Jesus, Who was stricken for our transgressions.

The Rock went with the Children of Israel in their Wilderness Journey and they found water when they dug for It...
Christ is our constant Water supply, and,

At Mt. Sinai God gave Law...

At the giving of the Law the people worshiped an idol...
In the New Testament, believers are warned, if we think we stand, we may actually fall.

God instructed Moses on building the Tabernacle...
In the New Testament, we learn the Christocentric meaning of the Tabernacle and we learn that we are the building of God.

Twelve spy out the land, majority report, blind to reality...
The majority deny the possibility of entering the Promised Land of victory.

Only two spies saw the hand of God and the promise of victory. Disbelief brought disobedience and they did not enter the Promised land...
Christians who fail to walk in the light will lose spiritual ground in this life and may fail to make it through to final victory.

God told Moses to speak to the Rock, in order to get the water the people needed, however, in his anger, Moses struck the Rock and God was displeased. Moses was not allowed to enter the Promised Land...
Jesus is our Rock, our source of Water. Jesus was struck for our transgressions on the cross and He gave His Holy Spirit to regenerate those who believe and repent. As the risen Savior, we can ask Him and He will give us the fullness of the Holy Spirit, as on the Day of Pentecost, when their hearts were purified by the Holy Spirit.

The people rebelled against God and serpents invaded the camp, biting and killing people. God told Moses to raise a brazen serpent in the camp. Those who would turn their eyes to the serpent would be healed...
When we allow sin in our lives, we must look to Jesus and believe on Him. Jesus must be lifted up for all men.

Of the original first generation Israelites who left Egypt, only two were allowed to go into the Promised Land, Caleb and Joshua. The two faithful spies...
Only those who believe God will enter the promised life of the fullness of the Holy Spirit. The Promised Land is the life of victory in a hostile land. It is not heaven.

Crossing the Jordan was a significant second crossing of water. First, the Red Sea, to escape Egypt and second, the Jordan River, to enter the Promised Land...
Christians leave the life of sin and oppression behind when we are converted and follow Jesus, then we enter the land flowing with milk and honey when we are filled with His Spirit and conformed to the image of Jesus. Both transformations take place by faith.

1 Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea;
2 And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea;

God leads us out of sin, into salvation, through the wilderness to the promised land, providing all that we need for life and godliness.

Conversion gives us life and clean hands (washes us from evil deeds and leads us in following Christ). Total surrender gives us the total infilling of the Holy Spirit and purifies our hearts. God requires conversion (clean hands, clean lives) but He also requires pure hearts (loving the Lord with all of our heart, mind, soul and strength and loving our neighbor as ourselves).

Romans chapter 6 shows us God's standard and God's deliverance from all sin and sinning.
Romans chapter 7 is a picture of the carnal or double minded Christian life, when the old man and the new man battle within us.
The end of Romans chapter 7 tells us that there is deliverance from the sin nature.
Romans chapter 8 reveals the Spirit filled life, with the Holy Spirit being mentioned about 15 times in the first 16 verses.

This is important today because there is the popular, but erroneous, belief that a person cannot fall from salvation. Here is a short article addressing that question.

Christians can Fall.
1 Corinthians 10:12
(12) Wherefore let him that thinks thinks he stands take he lest he fall.

Christians can Fall Away From Christ.

Congratulations to the USA. It has made the fall of the UK to sinsanity look like a superslowmo video. USA is falling and failing in everything reasonable, right and responsible. There is not an area that the real insurrection is not overthrowing the history, heritage and hope of this country.

It has been America's Christian heritage that saved us from falling to our enemies in the past, but America has left their past and followed the nations of the world into total collapse.

America never earned God's blessing; they were gifts from God. However, America has spurned God and His blessings continuously. Now America wants to go its own way, without God.

Yes, I believe God can mercifully spare America from sudden destruction, but I also believe that America is not going to turn to God, and that will seal our national doom.

Young people (who have been regenerated) often "outgrow" faith, love, submission, relationship with Jesus. They actually "die on the vine." They were close to Christ, then they were drawn away by this evil age. They began to cut their connection, cut their relationship with the Vine. They failed to ABIDE in Christ. Their light, life, love, trust dwindled as they rejected God's leading, they grew hard, self oriented, distant to God, their families, their church folks, their calling and they stopped producing spiritual fruit until God cut them off.

Q. SHOULD A PERSON ACT LIKE A CHRISTIAN?
A. YES AND NO (see below).

Let me explain. I am using the word, "ACT" in two different ways.

1. "Act," as in behave. The sincere doing of a thing. Taking action.
   Christians act (sincerely behave like followers of Christ), because they trust and follow Christ.
2. "Act," as in pretend. The insincere doing of a thing. Play acting.
   Hypocrites act (pretend to be followers of Christ), because they do not actually trust or follow Christ.
   The good tree brings forth good fruit because the seed is good.
   The evil tree brings forth bad fruit, because seed is bad.
   The hypocrite brings forth bad fruit and pretends it is good fruit.
   A Christian's Action Is No Act.

DESTINY FOR THOSE WHO DO NOT BEAR GOOD FRUIT
Matthew 3:10
(10) And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

When we are saved, we don't have to pretend.
A Christian does not have to act (pretend, play act) like a Christian, because his new nature, which he received at his salvation, produces the likeness of Christ.
The wannabe or pretend Christian must act (play the part) like a Christian, because his nature is to not live in the likeness of Christ.
Christian action is not just what we do, it is the spirit in which we do it. Good works rising from the love of Christ in the heart of the saved person.
Christian action is seen in what we do and in what we do not do. We do those things that are pleasing in the sight of God, and we refrain from doing those things which God despises.
Orange trees do not produce apples, apple trees do not produce watermelons. Each seed produces after its kind. The supernatural life of salvation is seen in the natural life.

And of course, Doctors and Lawyers (as well ask Craftsmen in various fields) are also paid good money for their time, ability, knowledge.
(THIS IS NOT A CRITICISM)

Yet folks refuse Biblical leadership and counsel from a godly man who is called by God and trained in Christian and spiritual ministry, with years of experience in multifaceted areas of life. The man of God does not charge and is on call 24/7. The man of God is not simply giving personal opinion, but Biblical and godly principles.

An anointed, spirit filled minister of God's word is committed to leading his people, corporately and individually, into victory. He does this as ministry, not industry, still folks will get "professional help" in nearly every area of life, other than Christian living and Biblical understanding, which applies to personal development, family relationships, social interaction, financial discipline, physical well being and of course personal piety.

Remember, spiritual counsel emanates from a spiritual source, therefore the principles are applicable to every area of life and sometimes God gives specific guidance, even in technical areas of concern. The Holy Spirit not only guides the believer, He also works in the affairs of daily, personal, business and social concerns.

The words of this chorus are taken from one of the most important passages and revelations of God in the entire Bible. This chorus says,
HEAR, OH ISRAEL, THE LORD OUR GOD, THE LORD IS ONE.
The next verse of the passage is the greatest commandment, according to Jesus, which is the law of love. Jesus said that keeping this law fulfills the whole law.

This would be a great chorus to learn (personally and corporately), because there is ONLY ONE LORD GOD (JEHOVAH ELOHIM) AND HE IS ONE (FIRST, UNITED) LORD (JEHOVAH).

It would be good to add the truth of the next verse, which is the Law of love, to this chorus. These truths in song should transport us to heavenly places and should draw is together as one body in Christ.

One God, in three Person's, He is only one. When He is Lord of our lives, we love as He loves and our love fulfills the law of God.
Deuteronomy 6:4-5

5 And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.

06/22/21 ALARMS THAT SHOULD ALARM YOU

 God designed us to be alarmed when certain things take place in our lives. God created Adam with body, soul and spirit.

Through Adam's sin, each of these components have been corrupted and deadened. Five components of the SOUL are Reason, Desire, Emotion, Conscience and Will. We did not lose these five components, but we lost the Edenic qualities that God imparted at creation. Still, we have these qualities, through which God communicates with us. Since we are conceived as fallen, corrupted, sinful people God has set up a warning system, designed to alert us to dangers of various kinds, including dangers to our inner man.

Here are two of the dangers and alarms that God uses to save us from spiritual losses.

SINNERS SHOULD HEAR AND HEED GOD'S ALARM
God warns the SINNER (person without Christ) that he is lost in sin. All have sinned and all are dead (separated from God) in their sins.

Since God does not want anyone to be separated (at the present time or in eternity),

God enlightens every person who comes into the world with a sense of right and wrong from the time of their childhood. God communicates this understanding through the Conscience.

Little children, worldwide, from every race, culture and religion, innately realize that there is good and evil.
Then as the child chooses to submit to evil, God "convicts" them of their wrong doing.

Conviction, awareness of sin and guilt; the dangers of a sin and guilt are made more understandable through the enlightenment of the word of God and the work of the Holy Spirit.

Those who are exposed to the word of God are made aware of their need for reconciliation with God, the need for forgiveness, the need to believe on Christ, the need to confess their sins, the need to repent (turn from sin and turn to Christ), the need to follow Jesus.
These are basic steps to salvation that Jesus taught.

However, sinners resist the enlightenment of God and reject God's offer of salvation, but God continues to convict and call the sinner to conversion. The longer a sinner refuses God's love, mercy, grace, the more they harden their hearts. Resisting the warning of God and the offer of salvation is a dangerous thing to do.

Everyone needs salvation and Jesus is the only way to salvation. To neglect or reject God's call to salvation is to cut yourself off from the only hope available. When you sense your sin, guilt, it is God speaking to you and calling you. Refusing God's call will result in further sin and eventually can end the call of God.

Children need to hear the word of God and be made aware of their sins and God's salvation. Children are more sensitive to God, however, regardless of a person's age, repeated rejection of God's call leads to a seared, hardened conscience, which cuts off the call of God.

BELIEVERS SHOULD HEAR AND HEED GOD'S ALARM
After a sinner hears and heeds the call of God to salvation through Christ, that person becomes a New Creation in Christ, God imparts to them Newness of Life through the New Birth and gives them a New Man (created in the likeness of Christ). The believer enters into a right relationship with the living God and is indwelt by the Holy Spirit, who then guides us into the way of righteousness.

God enlightens and leads the believer. This includes leading them into greater light and warning them when they are about to walk out of light into darkness. As Jesus taught us to pray, "... Lead us not into temptation." and as the Psalmist said, "... lead me in the way everlasting." God leads us with His word, His Spirit, in His Light, in His Truth, in His Way.

However, hearing and heeding is our responsibility. If we come to a point that we are not following fully, then the Holy Spirit warns us, leads us, calls us. If we will not hear God's call to us as believers then we will disobey Him, walk in darkness, separate ourselves from Him through sin.

The Christian experience, relationship is a life, a walk, a continuous submission to God. When we start to drift, stray, slip from the way of God, then the Holy Spirit convicts us and calls us to a life of faith and faithfulness. To reject His call is to become more rebellious, hardened and without Christ.

Christians must maintain a right relationship with God, through prayer and Scripture reading and heeding, and meditation and and submission.
Jude 1:20-21
20 But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,
21 Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.

Romans 8:12-14

13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.

The mindset of the World, the Flesh and the Devil has always been offended by Biblical standards forbidding, killing, stealing, lying, sexual promiscuity, coveting. Now our society is offended by those, who do not participate, allow and approve of others practicing those sins.

As long as God has a witness, a representative in the world, then the world enjoys a measure of enlightenment and Divine protection. The more mankind turns from God the more evil society becomes. It is getting worse and will continue to get worse as men rebel against God.

Here are New Testament passages that give lists of sins in our world today and in the days ahead.
