06/18/21 JESUS WARNS ABOUT FALSE PROPHETS

You better be careful who you choose to trust, believe, follow. It isn't just what they say or how they say it; we need to know them and how they live.

It is possible for a deceiver to have millions of followers though his life is obviously a contradiction to the message of Christ. It is essential that the MESSAGE, the METHOD of sharing the MESSAGE and the MESSENGER should be consistent with Biblical revelation and standards.

The old saying is, "Even when the devil tells the truth, he is lying about it." Likewise, when a false prophet tells the truth, even in the most impressive way, he is still misleading people.

Jesus will not accept those who preach truth or do works of mercy if their lives are not in submission to God, therefore we should not listen to, or follow them.

Matthew 7:20-23
20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Remember, the messenger who is not living by God's word, will mislead your family and friends and that will taint God's message and your witness.

Don't be deceived by false teachers and don't allow the negativity of false witnesses turn you from faithful ministers of the word. The enemy of your soul is relentless.

15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
