12/04/21 BE WISE, NOT PRESUMPTUOUS
Christians should not live in fear, even when the world is collapsing all around us. Neither should we live as if salvation is some kind of a "Christian Good Luck Charm," or "Christian Talisman."
Christians have suffered death since the day of Christ's resurrection, and Christians have suffered persecution since the day of His resurrection, Christians have suffered losses to evil people and to sicknesses and to floods and to famine and to droughts and to Government oppression. It is not that we fear these things, but rather we must know how to live our lives Biblically in the face of these issues.
Sometimes people trust more in the world than they do in Christ.
Sometimes people presume on God, and then mistakenly call it faith.
Being a faithful believer is not Cavalier believe-ism but neither is it living in fear. It is a life of Biblical faith.
