07/06/21 SPIRITUALLY DISCERNED

07/06/21 SPIRITUALLY DISCERNED

Just because God Regenerates those who are dead in sins and trespasses, it doesn't preclude His work of Justifying the unrighteous, or Sanctifying the sinner, or Entirely Sanctifying the Double Minded through the Infilling of the Holy Spirit. These are various coexistent parts of unified Divine salvation

When a person receives Christ as Savior, he receives Christ as Lord (Master, King). When people reject the Lordship of Christ over their lives, they are rejecting Christ as their Savior, you can't have one without the other.

Jesus, as Savior and Lord, forgives, regenerates, cleanses, enables, enlightens and empowers. However, a saved person (forgiven, regenerated, cleansed, enabled, enlightened and empowered) is not delivered, saved, set free, purified from the Old Man (Double Mindedness, Carnal Mind) because the Old Man, the sinful nature is not a result of personal rebellion; it is the inherent nature passed down from Adam and it needs to be crucified with Christ, which is a willful and deliberate act of faith, made by a saved person, a believer.

The Bible tells us, in the Old and New Testaments, that we need to have our hands cleansed (sinful actions forgiven, cleansed away, removed). We are also told that we need to have our hearts purified, from the Old Man (Evil Heart of Unbelief, Root of Bitterness).

Psalms 24:3-5
3 Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place?
4 He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.
5 He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.

James 4:7-8
7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.
