08/14/21 HOW IMPORTANT IS YOUR JOB?
Church folks, remember, every minute, hour, day that your pastor spends on essential work, which you can and should do, robs him of study, prayer, counseling, leading. Though his work and time is deeper, higher and longer lasting, sometimes he can't do his job because you haven't done your job.
The Holy Spirit, through Peter, addressed this in the book of Acts, concerning "serving tables," which was the important work of feeding, housing and caring for the believers who were staying in Jerusalem after the resurrection and ascension of Christ and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on the Day of Pentecost, in order to be edified, trained, discipled.
