08/05/21 PERSONAL WORD OF PRAISE

Some folks will wonder how I can afford some of the material blessings I have. I am not a rich man, yet God has provided all of my needs, according to His riches in glory and He has done exceeding abundantly above whatever I could ask or even think, according to the power of the Spirit that works in me. WOW

As Paul said, I know how to abound and how to be abased; I know how to flourish and I know how to scrape by: I know how to have more than enough and how to live while I am hungry.

I am not a "health and wealth" preacher. I don't believe the, "name it claim it" heresy. I don't accept the false doctrine of the "Word of Faith" group. I just give my needs, my life to God and trust Him with it, since it is His anyway and He knows best and He does all things well.

I don't seek other peoples goods or wealth. I am not a money grubber. I am neither a beggar or a profiteer. I don't preach money for anyone, including for myself. Money or the lack of money is not the proof of a right relationship with God.
However, in these advanced years of life, God has blessed our lives (me and Martha) abundantly and has blessed me in my service to Him beyond words. In fact, through the years, including the lean years, God has provided for me, my family and for others. GOD IS GOOD, ALL THE TIME.

I am the recipient of other people's kindness, love, generosity, support. I have people that have stepped up, even when there was no call being raised. I don't slump around as a whipped dog or with a long face when I am in need. I trust God, He understands and He provides.

All that being said, I have a home that God has provided for me. I have not used anyone for personal advantage, but God has sent help from loving people. I not only have a house (a home) but God is providing me the facilities to entertain, fellowship, share meals, play games, sing songs, lead Bible studies, praise Jesus, minister truth and love to family, friends, neighbors.

I take one step at a time, even in my finances. God sometimes swoops in with a power surge that advances me and my service to Him. There are people who have been sensitive to the leading of God, to help me. Thank you to those friends. Even now I am about to enjoy blessings that should result in eternal souls. Again, it is because God has provided folks who dream God's dreams and share God's vision for reaching and ministering to others.

I have never entered into an agreement with anyone, claiming poverty, while actually holding on to more finances. God has not only provided step by step, but He has moved others to step up and help me see and move into even greater possibilities.

Thank you to those who have been faithful and generous, to those who are being faithful and generous and to those who will share in this great work of God, in these trying and difficult times. I can['t convey my thoughts, but one day, God will reward your faithfulness. Praise His Name.
