08/06/21 IT IS ROUGH...
Standing dockside, watching a loved one ship out to war;
Standing near a hospital bed, as a loved one slips away into eternity;
Standing in a courtroom while deputies escort a beloved family member off to prison;
Standing by an open grave and bidding a final goodbye to a special person in your life.
But it is also devastating to watch a strong, healthy loved one cling to an attitude, an appetite, an affinity that keeps them from following Christ fully. It is an ongoing death that is often passed on to children.
How wonderful would it be if those loved ones spent their lives following Christ fully and leading their children in love, faith, peace, joy and purpose?
