If you don't practice, you are generally not ready to play.

If you don't prepare, you are generally not ready to pass.

If you don't pray, you are generally not ready to proclaim (either preach or witness).

While God is the One Who gives us vision, ability, calling, opportunity, grace, power, success, we are the ones who provide the vessel through which He moves.

We are co-laborers with Him, we plant and water, but He gives the increase, He makes us to be fishers of men, we do the soldiering, but it is God that gives the victory.

2 Corinthians 4:6-7

(6) For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

(7) But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.

1 Corinthians 2:4-5

(4) And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:

(5) That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.
