03/11/21 CHECK THIS OUT

03/11/21 CHECK THIS OUT
(I think this is a good exercise for all Christians).

THIS IS A PERSONAL EXERCISE.

DO NOT, DO NOT, DO NOT POST YOUR ANSWERS.

I ask five QUESTIONS and I also give four POSSIBLE ANSWERS and finally I offer five REASONS FOR THOSE ANSWERS.

QUESTIONS
1- What life changing truth have you heard your pastor preach or teach within the last 1 or 2 years that caused you to stand up during service and give testimony to God's enlightenment and grace that has transformed you?
2- What life changing truth have you heard your pastor preach or teach within the last 3 to 5 years that caused you to stand up during service and give testimony to God's enlightenment and grace that has transformed you?
3- What life changing truth have you heard your pastor preach or teach within the last 6 to 15 years that caused you to stand up during service and give testimony to God's enlightenment and grace that has transformed you?
4- What life changing truth have you heard your pastor preach or teach within the last 16 to 25 years that caused you to stand up during service and give testimony to God's enlightenment and grace that has transformed you?

(Be careful, this is a little different from the previous 4 questions)
5- What life changing truth have you heard your pastor preach or teach within the last 1 to 25 years THAT CAUSED YOU TO GO TO HIM privately and acknowledge God's enlightenment and grace that has transformed you?

POSSIBLE ANSWERS
(No one is ever expected to share publicly or privately the very personal and private things that God does in their life. These possible answers apply to the questions mentioned above.)
1- None that I can remember.
2- I have testified publicly to God's enlightenment and grace that has transformed me, but I did not acknowledge any particular truth that the pastor preached.
3- I have not testified publicly to a specific truth that changed my life, but I have told pastor that God spoke through him and I have sought God's deliverance in that particular area.
4- I have testified before the church and shared with pastor on various occasions about very specific messages and Divine changes brought about through his preaching.

SOME REASONS FOR THESE ANSWERS
1- Pastor has not really preached or taught any life changing truths.
2- Pastor has preached or taught life changing truths, but I did not respond in faith and obedience.
3- Pastor has preached and taught life changing truths and I did seek God, but I did not give specific testimony to the church or share with pastor.
4- Pastor has preached and taught life changing truths and I have given testimony before the church, but I have not shared my experience with pastor.
5- Pastor has preached and taught life changing truths but I have never given testimony before the church, though I have privately told pastor that his message changed my life.

I give this exercise because the Bible says, Let the redeemed of the Lord say so. Giving thanks for God's saving mercy glorifies God, encourages and edifies the blessed individual, challenges others with God's grace, encourages the pastor and encourages other people to listen carefully to the pastor as he proclaims God's truths.
