03/14/21 UNIVERSAL PRINCIPLE

03/14/21 UNIVERSAL PRINCIPLE

Wisdom follows proven, fact based, medical advice. When we suffer a physical problem (injury or sickness) it is prudent to follow counsel from a reputable doctor. Medical science has advanced and given great relief to modern society.

Yes, there are incompetent doctors as well as faulty treatments and errant "medical" procedures, therapies and drugs, which are driven by greed, misguided principles and political agendas. We must be careful. We must not fall prey to harmful counsel. Still, we must practice good hygiene, diet, health and safety precautions.

Sadly there are people who will dispute valid medical advice concerning diet, drug use (recreational and medically prescribed). They will choose their own mistaken views or desires over sound advice.

As most of you have already realized, this post is not primarily concerned with physical health or medical doctors (though it does apply).

Wisdom follows proven, Bible based, pastoral counsel. When we are dealing with issues that involve spiritual ramifications (whether personal or family or social) it is prudent to follow counsel from a tried and true, faithful man of God (such as a godly pastor). Christian ministry and Bible knowledge has increased as we have learned more Bible truths over time and in our own lives.

Yes, there are incompetent "preachers" as well as errant "ministers and ministries," which are driven by greed, misguided principles and false religious agendas. We must be careful. We must not fall prey to harmful counsel.

Sadly there are people who will dispute Biblical counsel concerning church life as well as private life. They will choose their own mistaken views or desires over sound instruction from Bible trained, Spirit filled, God called pastors.

People are expected to follow expert instruction and counsel in most areas of life, but when it comes to surrendering their lives to Biblical instruction, folks usually refuse to let go and let God have His way.
