09/15/21 YOU LOSE MORE THAN THOSE YEARS

09/15/21 YOU LOSE MORE THAN THOSE YEARS

Don't mess up and waste your early years. If you snub God or His word or His way during your youthfulness, you will probably never recover the great treasures you lost.

God will still bless folks (if they turn to Him in later years), even after they have treated Him like dirt, but they will never be all that God wanted them to be and do all that God wanted them to do. Even if a person dies with faith in God, they will lose all those years they wasted and they will never be able to retrieve the opportunities that God has planned for them.

The more time and opportunity and light and grace you lose, the further you will be from becoming God's instrument of love, life and light. God wants young people to enjoy life and enjoy their youthfulness, but not at the expense of their soul and at the expense of their true value.

For young people to resist God and His word, to turn from light and righteousness, to choose their own beliefs above the revelation of God is to cripple their own lives and abandon their own treasures.

Though the losses are irretrievable, that person needs to seek God quickly, deny self completely and follow Christ fully. Choosing God is always the right choice.

Ecclesiastes 11:9-10
9 Rejoice, O young man, in thy youth; and let thy heart cheer thee in the days of thy youth, and walk in the ways of thine heart, and in the sight of thine eyes: but know thou, that for all these things God will bring thee into judgment.
10 Therefore remove sorrow from thy heart, and put away evil from thy flesh: for childhood and youth are vanity.

Ecclesiastes 12:13-14
13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
14 For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
