09/14/21 CALLED AND CONFIRMED IN A LIFE OF VICTORY OVER SIN

09/14/21 CALLED AND CONFIRMED IN A LIFE OF VICTORY OVER SIN

In spite of the ABUNDANT and REDUNDANT Biblical declaration of victory, deliverance, transformation, empowerment, grace; people will continue to focus and magnify and falsely proclaim their sin above God's grace and salvation.

If you sin, then you should seek God and turn from sin. Don't hang out in the sin zone and don't propagate rebellion over redemption.
God does not save us in our sins. He saves us from our sin.

When God sees sin in our lives, He tells us what it is (convicts us), He condemns it and He calls us to confess and convert (turn from sin). He does not continue to accuse us without providing and offering deliverance to us.

The devil is the accuser of the brethren. He wants us to labor under false guilt and he wants believers to accept the errant idea that Christ does not save from sin and sinning.

We are not directed to exalt our sin and failure, we are directed to follow God and praise God for His deliverance. Sinning, failing, defeatist religion is the work of Satan, the message of failed religion and the road to perdition.

I know that this is more reading than most folks want to do as they are checking out FB posts. But if you want to read some passages that promote victorious living, or you want to take time to study in this subject a little, then these passages should bless you. Notice the starred ... portions especially.

Ephesians 2:8-10
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Ephesians 4:17-32
17 This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord,
that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind,
18 Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:
19 Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.
20 But ye have not so learned Christ;
21 If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus:
22 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;
23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
25 Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.
26 Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:
27 Neither give place to the devil.
28 Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.
29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.
30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
31 * Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:
32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.

Philippians 1:6
6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

Philippians 2:12-15
12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
14 Do all things without murmurings and disputings:
15 That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;

Philippians 3:7-11
7 But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ.
8 Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,
9 And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:
10 That I may know him,
and the power of his resurrection,
and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;*
11 If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.

Philippians 4:8-9
8 Finally, brethren,
whatsoever things are true,
whatsoever things are honest,
*whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely,
whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
9 Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.

Hebrews 13:20-21
20 * Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus,* that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,
21 Make you perfect in every good work to do his will,
working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight,
through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.*

1 John 2:1-6
1 My little children, these things write I unto you,
that ye sin not.
And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:
2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
5 But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.
6 He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.

Jude 1:20-25
20 But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,
21 Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
22 And of some have compassion, making a difference:
23 And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.
24 Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,
25 To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.

But remember, if you actually are disobeying God, then all of your false boasting of victory will only condemn you.
