01/03/21 A LOVING WARNING

01/03/21 A LOVING WARNING

The kayaker did not hear the warning cries from the folks along the river bank. He continued to video the stunning terrain and abundant wildlife, unaware that he was drifting toward the 100 foot waterfall drop. His would-be rescuers could only watch in horror as he plunged to his death on the rocks below.

BLACK SCREEN

Let me explain why I put a solid black screen on this post.

When my post is too long for one of the colorful backgrounds, I usually have a link or a photo or some other way to enhance the message. In this case I wanted to add a photo of a waterfall dropping to a rocky pool below. I did not find exactly what I wanted.

I decided to just give a black screen as an attention get-ter. As I was making the "photo" I realized that the imagery was great, because it conveyed the idea of death or it might cause the reader to realize the importance of paying attention to their situation in life.

My friend Allen was kind enough to like my post. I always check my posts when people respond. As I read it over and saw my black screen I realized that some folks would think I had a hidden message in the photo. I DID NOT.

It was not a personal, secret message. I can see how it could be, but it was not even on my mind. If you don't understand what I am talking about, don't worry about it. It probably won't be the last time (hehehe).
