Matthew 5:6
6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

Yes, It is possible for God's children to hunger and thirst after righteousness and it is possible for them to be filled with righteousness.

It does not say that believers cannot hunger and thirst after righteousness.
It does not say that it is self righteousness that causes Christians to hunger and thirst after righteousness.
It does not say that it is futile to hunger and thirst after righteousness.

God promised that those who hunger and thirst after righteousness shall be filled with righteousness.

Go ahead, say it out loud.
IF WE HUNGER AND THIRST AFTER RIGHTEOUSNESS, WE WILL BE FILLED WITH RIGHTEOUSNESS.
