05/07/21 THINK IT THROUGH

05/07/21 THINK IT THROUGH

OKAY, you might not agree with all of my doctrines (deliverance from all sin, male leadership in the home and church, Christian non-violence) but don't discount my strong Biblical stand on the Trinity (Father, Son, Holy Spirit), Holy Bible, salvation, heaven and hell, Pre-Tribulational Rapture. Why not have a serious conversation or study?

Are you telling me that you know that my differing view is wrong, without you even studying what the Bible actually says about them? All of my fundamental beliefs are consistent with Biblical and Historic Christianity.

In these days of wild confusion and rampant false doctrines, isn't it a good idea to study with someone who actually believes the Bible. I understand when people don't believe some of the things I believe. I didn't believe some of them from my early walk with Jesus. I heard about ideas that were foreign to my upbringing and then I studied the word of God. When I saw that I needed to align myself with God's word I made the changes necessary. Though some of my beliefs are strange to some Christians, we should not be surprised. We are not born with perfect knowledge or understanding, and when we learn from people who are not familiar with certain Biblical truths, we are not taught those truths.

Though I am fully persuaded concerning my doctrinal stance, I do not break fellowship with others because of differences. Usually, when a person actually studies Scripture and Church history they come to understand that the beliefs I have concerning deliverance from all sin, male leadership in the home and church as well as Christian non-violence are consistently Christian beliefs. If my beliefs are wrong you should be able to disprove my arguments and you should be able to present irrefutable proof to support your position.

So, why not give me an opportunity to share my beliefs with you. If I am right, then you are in for a real blessing. If you don't agree with my point of view then I will still love you and accept you as a believer in Christ.
